To improve users' ability to find and access specific conversations, WhatsApp will automatically create a new custom filter at the top of the chats list after compiling a list of individuals and group chats.

Because the filter and the list will have the same name, users will be able to quickly identify and choose the right filter to view only the chats related to that specific list.

Passkey technology will probably be incorporated with the next update to encrypt chat backups, providing a more user-friendly and secure option to conventional passwords.

It will no longer be necessary for users to maintain long encryption keys or remember complicated passwords thanks to passkeys, which make use of biometric data like fingerprints or face recognition, according to WABetainfo.
