Synopsis:-

Kesari Veer is a 2025 Bollywood historical action drama directed by Prince Dhiman and co-directed by Kanubhai Chauhan. The film stars Sooraj Pancholi as the fearless Rajput warrior Hamirji Gohil, alongside Suniel Shetty as the legendary Vegdaji Bhil, and Vivek Oberoi as the ruthless invader Zafar Khan. Set in 14th-century Gujarat, the movie is inspired by true events and portrays the heroic battle to defend the sacred Somnath Temple from the oppressive Tughlaq Empire.

The story follows Hamirji Gohil, a brave Rajput prince determined to unite the fragmented Hindu kingdoms against forced religious conversions and the destruction of temples under Zafar Khan’s brutal rule. Despite political setbacks, Hamirji's unwavering faith drives him to protect Somnath during the holy festival of Mahashivratri. In a surprise battle, he defeats Rasool Khan, igniting a larger conflict with the Tughlaq forces.

When Zafar Khan orders the complete demolition of Hindu temples, beginning with Somnath, Hamirji, supported by Vegdaji Bhil and only 200 loyal warriors, stands against the mighty Tughlaq army. In a courageous last stand, Hamirji sacrifices his life to preserve the temple and the Hindu faith.

Adding emotional depth to this powerful historical drama is a touching love story between Hamirji and Raajal, portrayed by debutante Akanksha Sharma. The film blends romance, devotion, and patriotism, showcasing Suniel Shetty’s commanding screen presence, Sooraj Pancholi’s compelling transformation into a noble hero, and Vivek Oberoi’s intense portrayal of a historic antagonist.
