Summary: Actor Nassar’s son woke up from ca oma and called for Thalapathy Vijay instead of his parents.

Veteran actor Nassar recently revealed a very intimate story of his son Faisal's incredible recovery, emphasizing how much Tamil movie star Vijay influenced their lives. In an interview on the OMG podcast, Nassar described the terrifying experience of Faisal's 2014 accident, which left him in a coma for more than 14 days. Faisal's first word upon regaining consciousness was "Vijay," demonstrating his affection for the actor.

In the conversation, Nassar talked about how much his son Noorul Hassan Faizal adores Vijay. According to him, he is a "massive fan" of Vijay and even met the actor, with whom he shared his admiration.

Faisal's family was relieved that he could still remember things, and they helped him heal by showing him Vijay's movies and songs. After noticing Faisal's excitement when shown images of Vijay, Nassar's wife Kameela decided to include more of the actor's work in his rehabilitation.

The actor said, “He was unconscious for 14 days, in a coma, and was taken to Singapore for treatment. When he woke up, he didn’t say amma (mother) or appa (father); he said Vijay. He has a friend by that name, so we were happy his memory was intact. But my son didn’t recognize his friend when he met him; he looked at him blankly.”

When the family found themselves puzzled, Nassar stated that his wife, a psychologist, immediately recognized which Vijay their son was talking about and presented him with a photo of the actor. Nassar recalls the moment his son's eyes lit up, prompting them to play Vijay's films and songs to help spark his memory.

“When Vijay found out, he asked if he could meet my son. He insisted even when we told him it was okay. He met him not once but many times. He would spend time with him, and he even gifted him a ukelele because he knows he plays guitar. So, of course, he plays a very important role in my life, my Faizal’s life,” said the actor.
