Summary: Indian celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra, Kiara Advani, Diljit Dosanjh, and Shah Rukh Khan, dazzled at the Met Gala 2025 with their exquisite attire.

"Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," the theme of the 2025 Met Gala, took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This highlighted the heritage of Black Dandyism. Indian celebs created a big impression with their unique style choices.

It was a debut for Shah Rukh Khan at Met Gala debut in a custom Sabyasachi ensemble, featuring a tailored black coat over a silk shirt and trousers, accessorized with layered talismanic chains, a jeweled brooch, and an 18k gold cane. The look was a homage to both Indian and Black sartorial traditions.

Wearing a vintage white Balmain dress with black polka dots, a wide-brimmed hat, and a gorgeous 241-carat Bulgari emerald pendant, Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her fifth appearance at the Met Gala. She was wearing a cream outfit by Bianca Saunders with Nick Jonas.

Kiara Advani, making her Met Gala debut, wore a Gaurav Gupta-designed gown symbolizing motherhood. The outfit featured an antique gold breastplate with ghungroos and crystals, depicting interconnected "Mother Heart" and "Baby Heart" forms linked by a chain umbilical cord.

Prabal Gurung created the traditional off-white achkan and turban that Diljit Dosanjh wore for his Met Gala debut. In honour of his background, he wore a floor-length cape with designs such as the Punjab map and the Sikh mool mantra.

Isha Ambani wore a special Anamika Khanna ivory coat with elaborate embroidery, and Natasha Poonawalla wore a Manish Malhotra design that combined armour with Gara embroidery.

The presence of these Indian celebrities at the Met Gala 2025 highlighted the global influence of Indian fashion and culture on one of the world's most prestigious fashion stages.
