Summary: In a recent interview, Fahadh Faasil voiced his reservations about dealing with religion in Malayalam movies.

Fahadh Faasil is well-known for his contributions in a number of Malayalam film genres. The actor, who will next be seen in Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, avoids conflicting religious subjects. In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Fahadh explained why he avoids religious themes.

Actor Fahadh Faasil stated that Malayalam cinema has just gained enough popularity to allow for the most daring efforts in the coming five years. However, he stated that religion is one topic he will never touch.

Fahadh, who recently appeared in the film Aavesham, was discussing his film Trance, a highly structured film that was intended to expose the religious industry in Kerala. In an interview with Galatta Plus, the actor stated that the film failed to connect with the masses because Kerala audiences are unable to see the 'harsh reality' of themselves.

Fahadh said, "I have some reservations about engaging with religion in Kerala. I don't believe people want to hear the hard reality, if I may say so." They want to be entertained." He continued, "Trance lacked the entertaining factor. There was a lot of awareness and so on, but the film's enjoyment value was eventually lost. That is where we failed. Having said that, a fixed second half of trance would make a significant difference. But I'd avoid religion for a while in Kerala."

The psychological suspense film Trance stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Dileesh Pothan, Nazriya Nazim, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Soubin Shahir in pivotal roles. Although the film did not make any money at the box office, critics gave it favorable reviews. The film is directed and produced by Anwar Rasheed.
