Imran Khan Hints at His Return, Reveals If There’s a Sequel to “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”

Imran Khan, an Indian actor and the nephew of Aamir Khan. Earlier he marked his entry in the film industry as a child artist, he played the young Aamir in the movies like “Qayamat se Qayamat Tak” in 1988 and “ Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander” in 1992. He made his debut in the movie “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” alongside Genelia D’Souza.

The movie was widely acclaimed and loved by the audiences, it also gave Imran Khan the title of “rom-com” hero. Later Imran appeared in the films like “Break Ke Baad” alongside Deepika Padukone, “I Hate Luv Storys” alongside Sonam Kapoor, “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” alongside Katrina Kaif, “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola” alongside Anushka Sharma, “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” alongside Kareena Kapoor, and “Once Upon a Time in Mumbai” alongside Sonakshi Sinha.

The last film he starred in was opposite Kangana Ranaut “Katti Batti” which was released 9 years ago, since then Imran Khan has stayed away from the Bollywood industry and its limelight. He said it was his lowest phase after the flop of Katti Batti, and decided to stop acting for a while.

Last year when fans were rooting for the comeback of their favorite rom-com hero. Reacting to this Imran Khan gave his fans a tiny glitter of hope that he will be back soon. Recently, Imran Khan in his interview with Vogue India mentioned about his comeback with the sequel to Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

He said, “Jaane Tu was the story of many people. But for my part, it was the story of Jai going from boyhood to manhood. It is the story of two people growing up, coming to terms with what they want in a partner and finding their way to each other. It climaxes so nicely that I don’t know what more emotional growth these characters could have.”

He also shared a tid-bit about shooting a scene for Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He said, “There’s this scene in the beginning where all of us are gathered around for Aditi’s cat’s funeral and when I sit down to give my eulogy, my knee makes a cracking sound. They didn’t edit it out and if you turn the volume up, you can hear it. It’s gotten worse with age. Do yoga, kids.”
