Summary: Mrunal Thakur is to play the female lead opposite Adivi Sesh in Dacoit.

Dacoit: A Love Story is a bilingual film that was supposed to star Adivi Sesh and Shruti Hassan. Unfortunately, due to schedule conflicts and creative differences, Shruti Hassan is replaced by Mrunal Thakur.

Inspired by actual events, Shaneil Deo's film is creating a lot of talk online following the release of its first-look poster.

The movie, which stars Telugu actor Adivi Sesh, is being filmed in both Hindi and Telugu. On Sesh's 40th birthday, the film's producers released a new teaser. Fans on social media have welcomed Mrunal Thakur as the new female protagonist, as shown in the most recent poster.

Mrunal Thakur said she was excited about the role since it would allow her to try new things as an actor. The film's artistic vision, brought to life by director Shaneil Deo and actor-writer Adivi Sesh, blends a rustic narrative.

According to Adivi Sesh, who co-wrote the screenplay with Shaneil Deo, the movie is a "solid action film with a touching love story."

Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang are co-producers of the movie which is being shot in Hindi and Telugu at the same time.

Mrunal expressed her excitement saying, "The story of Dacoit is true, a great mixture of rustic storytelling that is elevated with the stylized vision of both Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. The character I’m set to depict in the films will allow me to explore shades of playing an on-screen character that I haven’t explored before as an actor. This proposition mixed with the genre and script of Dacoit is what will truly make it a treat to watch for the audiences. I can’t wait to deep dive into the world envisioned by Shaneil."

This is Sesh and Thakur's debut collaboration, and the filmmakers promise audiences a riveting on-screen connection. The movie is presently being filmed in Hyderabad, with further dates in Maharashtra scheduled.
