Summary: On its 11th day, the Vijay-starring movie "Leo" had an outstanding second Sunday, amassing an impressive collection of Rs 16.50 crore.

Expect records to shatter as “Leo” shows its unstoppable force at the box office. Vijay’s latest Tamil release, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, made a smashing impact on Sunday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film raked in an impressive Rs 16.50 crore on its 11th day in theatres.

Following its successful second Sunday collections, “Leo” has now reached an impressive net total of Rs 303 crore in India. The film is making a strong stride towards potentially surpassing the Indian record set by superstar Rajinikanth’s “Jailer,” which concluded its run at Rs 348 crore net.

"Jailer" maintained a more robust box office momentum, with its second Sunday in India reaching an impressive Rs 19.2 crore. On the 11th day, "Leo" exhibited over 40 percent occupancy, with afternoon and evening screenings exceeding 60 percent occupancy.

Although the overseas figures for its second Sunday are pending, "Leo" had already accumulated an impressive Rs 508 crore by the end of its second Saturday. The film is now set on a course to pursue the global milestone set by the biggest Tamil hit of the year, "Jailer," which garnered Rs 604 crore worldwide.

The movie starring Vijay has achieved significant success in India, even without substantial support from the Hindi market. Notably, it did not have an initial release in major national multiplex chains such as PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, and Miraj.

Under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Leo" features a talented ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy, and Gautham Menon. The film has been launched in several languages, encompassing Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
